O’Neill & Pust is a small, client-satisfaction focused law firm operating in Markdale, Ontario. Both born and raised in Grey County, O’Neill & Pust each have a deep understanding of the needs clients face in rural Ontario and are passionate about providing exceptional services to the folks of Grey, Bruce, and surrounding counties.
Kaely A. O’Neill
Born and raised in Markdale, Kaely has always had a deep appreciation for rural Ontario, small-town living. From a very young age, after going through some of her own family & life experiences, Kaely knew that she wanted to pursue a career in law. First receiving an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Kaely then went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, where she received the top grade in the Family Law course. Kaely currently practices primarily in the areas of family law, criminal law, wills & estates. Kaely attributes the love of her family and growing up on a farm just outside of town, for shaping her into the woman she is today, both inside and outside of her legal career. When she is not practicing law, Kaely enjoys being outdoors, hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Daniel Pust
Hailing from Durham, Dan attended the University of Western Ontario where he obtained an Honours Degree in Ecology and Evolution, obtaining the gold medal for his program. He subsequently found his way to Halifax, Nova Scotia, obtaining his Law Degree from Dalhousie University and practising for six years at the firm of Daley, Black & Moreira. Wanting to be closer to family as they started a family of their own, Dan and his wife Carrie returned to the area in 1999 and Dan hung out his shingle in Markdale in 2000. During his 31 years as a lawyer, Dan has focussed his practice primarily upon civil litigation, family law and wills & estates. He spends his free time in various outdoor pursuits, and recovering from those pursuits.
